I PIANO IN THE PIANODROME
The Pianodrome is a piece of magical theatre in its own right. A team of Edinburgh artists and musicians rescued over fifty pianos from the fire of the incinerator, and transformed them into a building that is at once an instrument, a performance space, a wonderland, and a handsome, humming, hundred-person chair!
I Piano in the Pianodrome
7-11 August 2019, 3pm

The Pianodrome won the no.1 spot on the Three Weeks Awards list of ‘the ten people and companies who made this year’s Edinburgh Festival extra special.' It was praised in particular for its ‘excellent programme of events’ — prominently featuring us! The Pianodrome also won the Creative Carbon Scotland Sustainable Fringe Award and is now up for the Creative Edinburgh City Award.
