DANNY TRYANI: PIANO

Since training at Trinity College of Music, Danny has toured the world as a pianist and performer with the likes of legendary British theatre director Peter Brooks, as well as Bella Hardy, BBC Folk Musician of the Year, and his own voice ensemble, Tryani Collective. He is the creator and musical director of The Conductor, in which he starred as Shostakovich and won the John Beecher Award. And amongst all this, he quite literally ran away with the circus for a year to play piano in the big top!

TERENIA EDWARDS: ZIZI

Terenia trained at Royal Central before bringing her ‘gutsy resilience’ (The Guardian) to a range of theatre, film and television shows, including Hero’s Welcome (Stephen Joseph Theatre), Peter Rabbit (Sony Animation) and The Moonstone (BBC One). She is the author of The Lonely Tiger, a heart-warming children’s book about loneliness, friendship and discovering who we really are through the eyes of the people who love us most.

ADRIAN HORNSBY: WRITER, MAKER

Adrian works on a brain-fizzing mishmash of plays, books and films about everything from digital disruption to trees growing out of children’s ears. He’s written operas with Ai Weiwei and Arnoud Noordegraaf, bestselling business books with top consultants, and picked up multiple awards (most recently ‘Smart Thinking Book of 2023’ for Disruption in Action). His work has been described by The Wire as ‘full of striking invention,' and by Icon as ‘heady, febrile, truly dreamlike.' I Piano is his first family show.
